Salman Khan starrer Kick has opened to phenomenal response on its opening day. The fans who were clearly disappointed with the performance of the previous film of the star this time have made sure such issue doesn’t arise. Kick collected 26 Cr plus on its opening day making it the fourth highest opener of all time behind Dhoom 3, Ek Tha Tiger and Chennai Express.
This performance is deemed extraordinary by the trade because it achieved the said figure on a non holiday and that too during Ramadan period which is considered as dull time for film business. With Eid holiday and post Eid days yet to come, the trade is expecting the film to put up some huge numbers going forward.
Kick is remake of Telugu film of same name starring Ravi Teja. It was debut movie as director for producer Sajid Nadiadwala. With the kind of opening the film has got the producer cum director must surely be having smile on his face.
