YSR Congress Nandhyala MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy has created a ruckus in Municipal Council meeting on Friday. When the council Chairman adjourned the house even before Bhuma’s speech, the MLA ordered his followers to close the doors and got TDP councilors attacked by his men and other YSRCP Councilors.
One of the TDP councilors is grievously injured on his head, while taking him to hospitals, Bhuma’s men attacked TDP Vice Chairman with iron rods and injured him too.
Cases including attempt to Murder were registered on Bhuma and his followers and Police forces were deployed at his house to arrest him on Friday night. But Bhuma went in to hiding to evade arrest but after pressures from police, he surrendered before district SP a short while ago. The police have examined the CCTV footage of the council and came to a primary conclusion that YSR Congress men are at wrong. It is said that Police are planning to open a Rowdy Sheet on the YSR Congress leader.
On the other side, TDP had called for a bandh in Nandhyala today. TDP leaders and cadre took to roads protesting against the attack on TDP councilors. Educational institutions and Businesses remain closed in Nandhyala due to the bandh.
