Former heroine Renu Desai who has taken to the social media recently is sharing some interesting details regarding her past and films, to her fans. One interesting fact the actress revealed recently was the original casting of Badri where the actress made her debut. She shared it as the film completed 14 years of its release today.
Getting into details, it was actually Renu Desai who was supposed to play the Sarayu character which was eventually played by Amisha Patel in the film. The role which Renu Desai actually ended up playing in the film was supposed to be done by Simran but due to issues with dates, Simran had to drop. So Renu Desai was given her role and for Renu’s character, the makers got a new heroine and the rest is history. Badri not only marked the debut of these actors but also director Puri Jagannadh.
