The Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA) had created a record of sort on Thursday. On a single day, CRDA managed to pool in 1203 acres. They have got agreement papers from the farmers of Nelapadu village for about 900 acres. The remaining land came from Shakamooru, Inavolu and other villages.
CRDA is expecting to reach the 10000 acres mark by the end of this month. The government has targeted to collect 30000 acres of total 51000 acres found in this region. On the other side, government has decided to crack whip on unofficial layouts coming up in the capital region.
An IAS officer is going to be appointed to deal with this unofficial layouts. Also CRDA is gearing up to display the list of officially approved layouts at CRDA office, Tullur. We are said that the officials have identified several unofficial layouts and are readying to file cases and make arrests.
