Power starring Ravi Teja opened a week before the release of Aagadu. The film got good talk and registered biggest openings in the career of the star. However soon after the weekend its collections came down pretty quickly and the trade credited this sudden downfall to the release of another biggie Aagadu as people had already pre-decided to watch it and skipped Power in process.
Aagadu came like a storm and now after the opening weekend it’s clear that the film has fizzled at the box office. During the same time Power which took a complete backseat to Aagadu with theatres removed and collection dropped, finally picked up. The weekend that went by was good and now it has stabilized at the box office. It is expected to have a steady run in the coming days. The film is right now the third highest grosser of Ravi Teja and with holidays coming up, the makers are expecting the film to stay afloat and end up becoming the second biggest hit in the stars career if not the biggest. With big films releasing week after week this might be a difficult task though.
