Love for food and trying different kinds of variety is not everyone’s platter. One should have palate to experiment with platter. Rana Daggubati, the towering hunk of Tollywood describes himself as adventurous regarding food and claims that no other actor might have tried so much variety as he did. So it is no surprise to any Hyderabadi if they found Rana savouring mouth watering haleem this Ramzan season at any food joint.

He is so down to earth and doesn’t allow the usual table habits come his way while savouring Hyderabadi dishes like ghost biryani, roti with different non-veg items. He prefers eating by digging his hands into the dish instead of using spoons n forks. He wonders why such false modesty when one can have the true luxury using hands. His adventures with food range from Nampally Nalli (bone marrow curry) to Charminar Sheharan Sheek Kebab, roti n peanut chutney n then to Pista House or Shah Ghouse for haleem and finally to gulp in biryani at Shadab.

Apart from the above routine, he likes to experiment visiting food joints which don’t even have a proper name. His quirky food habits sometimes make him to savour haleem in the wee hours of morning surprising people around him. Sometimes he drives to Charminar to savour sehri (Ramzan month breakfast before going on for day long fasting). He also takes the credit of introducing his Tollywood friends Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and others to these food joints where he is so regular a visitor that he knows many of the boys there by their first name. Yummy adventures indeed!
