With the kind of budget they are spending and the VFX they are using, it is very clear that Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali, The Conclusion’ and Shankar’s ‘2.0’ aren’t going to release this year and are going to come next year.
Responding on the rumors that ‘2.0’ will also release in April, the date set for releasing second installment of ‘Baahubali’, Rana Daggubati says that there would be no clash of release dates of both the biggies. The date was announced for Rajamouli’s medieval drama but not for Shankar’s futuristic science fiction.
Rana observes that such films need lot of time not only during the production stage but also for post production (VFX, CG works etc) and hence deciding a release date much in advance is really not possible. Releasing two biggies around the same time is anyway not good for the trade both the films, isn’t it?
