The Nomination of YSR Congress’ Rampa Chodavaram MLA candidate Uday Bhaskar is rejected. It is proved that Uday Bhaskar had submitted fake caste certificate. Up on verification, the Returning officer found the allegations to be true and rejected his nomination. Rampa Chodavaram is a ST reserved constituency and hence Uday Bhaskar who is not an ST produced a fake caste certificate to make him eligible for the contest. It is not clear if there is a dummy candidate here for the party.
On the other side, TDP made an allegation that YSRC Machilipatnam MP candidate, Parthasarathy is not eligible for contest due to his involvement in FERA related case but his nomination was accepted up on proper explanation. There is a similar fake caste certificate allegation on YSR Congress Araku MP candidate Geeta as well. We are yet to known the decision of the Returning Officer.
