Lord Shiva recurring in superstar's moviesDuring the initial stages of the preproduction work for Rajnikanth’s ‘Kabali’, news made rounds that the superstar’s characterization will be on the lines of his famous on screen character ‘Kaali’ which he played in director Mahendran’s ‘Mullum Malarum’. In fact, the film was rumored to be going to have the title ‘Kaali’.

Confirming the character of Rajnikanth in his upcoming movie ‘Kabali’, director Pa Ranjith says that the superstar’s characterization is inspired by ‘Kaali’ who even goes to the extent of loosing one of his hands but maintains his egoistic anger. This would be a film based on rowdies who did good to people in North Madras, rowdies but not bad guys.

Ranjith is going to stick to his style of film making and a the script demands there would be no punch lines in the film. Rajni will look his real and real self in the film fr which he had lost weight. Most importantly, ‘Kabali’ is going to have an inherent message like his previous movies ‘Madras’ and ‘Attakathi’.
