Congress Party which divided the Telugu States is once again employing its divisive politics in Andhra Pradesh. The party has been undertaking a secret campaign against TDP government making land pooling for the state capital difficult by creating unnecessary doubts and inhibitions. Intelligently, no state level Congress leaders are participating in this campaign so as to avoid media glare.
The hate campaign is directly monitored by Rahul Gandhi sitting in Delhi. Guntur district Congress Committee President Mallikarjuna Rao along with few other district level leaders for this campaign. This team is going to villages selected for first phase land pooling and interacting with farmers even before the government officials. They are provoking farmers to stage protests against the government officials when they come to the villages.
They are also asking the farmers to demand more compensation knowing that they are unreasonable just to delay the land pooling there by delay the capital formation too. This team is doing the work from the last couple of days in Tullur mandal of Guntur district where majority first phase villages are present. The local revenue officials have already sent in reports about their movements and work to the state government.
