Junior NTR is more popular for his action than for romance on screen. Most of his previous movies showed NTR in mass action avatar and this time the makers of NTR’s film ‘Rabhasa’ aren’t in a mood to buy the action tag. They want to project their movie as a family entertainer. But the Censor Board has given the film an ‘A’ certificate. Reportedly there are seven long fight sequences in the film, shot with spending heavy money. The Censor Board was left with no option but to award an ‘A’ to ‘Rabhasa’.

Post the censoring, the makers of the film went into introspection and thought to trim some action sequences from the movie. A long fight and some unnecessary scenes are reportedly removed from the film. Thus the film got self censored by the makers and trimmed by 15 minutes run time. Going by some of the previous’ films fate at the box-office because of length, director Santosh Srinivas took safe measures so that the length and too much action would not effect the movie’s performance.
