The State bifurcation seem to have aided the real estate business in residual Andhra Pradesh. The people in the region are expecting special attention to them unlike previous governments only concentrated on Hyderabad in the United State. There is 28 percent increase in the property deals in the state after the bifurcation. Most of this is concentrated in Guntur and Vijaywada which are being touted as the next twin cities.

Andhra Pradesh Stamps and Registration collected revenue of Rs 270.41 crore in June, 2014, as against Rs 185.81 crore in June, 2013. In June, the stamps & registration revenue collection for Guntur and Vijayawada touched Rs 67.45 crore and Rs 53.93 crore respectively.Where as a dip is observed in the real estate of Telangana state. Stamps and registration revenue collection for Telangana in June 2014 is Rs 200.45 crore against Rs 242.74 crore in 2013.
