The latest development regarding the controversy is the Producer Council’s support for the film. The film was scheduled for theatrical release on May 1.

Besides the Producer’s Council, Theatre Management Association and PEPSI came forward in support of the film and assured that they would do everything to make 1st May release possible for the film.
