Baby Shamlee as a child actor was one of the most popular faces not just in Telugu but across South Indian. It was with that popularity in mind that she was introduced as heroine with great hype in Telugu with the film Oye.
The debut unfortunately didn’t go as planned as the Siddharth starrer turned out to be a damp squib. The actress was nowhere to be seen after its debacle. However after many years she is making her comeback to films in grand way. We already know about her signing two good Tamil films and now she has signed a Telugu film as well.
Shamlee is getting paired opposite Nara Rohit in a film called Kathalo Rajakumari. The film directed by debutant Mahesh will be on sets from December. One hopes the actress makes her mark in the re-launch of sorts that she is making.
