Few of you might remember that recently threatening calls were made to the office of Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan from underworld and its result was security was reinstated at his house. The threats were apparently related to the overseas movie rights of the upcoming film of the star, Happy New Year.
Now the latest one hears on this front is that the security cover has been extended to the entire cast of the film Happy New Year. The film has an ensemble cast in its leads and with all of them soon to start an overseas concert tour named SLAM, the police fearing further threats have extended security cover to all the cast. Overseas is a huge market for an SRK film and for the same reasons there is always huge clamor for the rights. More often than not mafia related affiliations have a stake in these rights. This time it looks like there has been a problem with that and hence these threats as a result.
