Actor Shivaji who is on an Amarana Deeksha for the last four days demanding Special Status to Andhra Pradesh got his Deeksha broke by the Police. As the sugar and BP levels of Shivaji were falling down, Guntur police forcible shifted him to the hospital. Earlier Shivaji announced that he will commit suicide if his deeksha is forcibly broken.
Shivaji’s deeksha venue, Guntur Collector office was flooded with many locals and youth in the surrounding areas. Shivaji extensively campaigned for BJP in the last elections across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However he voiced opinion against the party after it kept on rejecting the promised Special Status.
He toured many areas of the state and arranged round table conferences regarding this issue. This behavior of Shivaji even irked the BJP state unit and went on disown him telling he is not a member of the party. The other day he even target Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly.UPA government promised Special Status for 5 years during the state bifurcation. BJP then demanded Special Status for 10 years and even promised in their manifesto. But now they are ignoring the promise for political gains.
