Several things in the twenty ninth state of the country is happening which are very unlikely to take place in any state of India. 90% of the Telangana government are finally ending up with the Center or the courts. However the Union government is mum over the state. Be it banning News Channels, Household Survey, Tweaking nativity rules, defying Center’s orders on powers to Governor, calling fascist etc, every thing have poked Modi well according to the government sources.
However respecting the federal structure and people elected government, Modi is keenly observing the developments in the state and reportedly wants to handle the issue as delicately as possible. “We hope that good sense will prevail and the Telangana government will not do anything that will escalate tension. If some thing such sort happens, we have our plans ready to intervene,” an official in PMO said.
