Kamarapu Laxmi, a forty two year old women ran for five kilometers to be part of Guinness book of records at Ambedkar Stadium. It might sound strange but she did the same act during her first delivery also for the sake of normal delivery. But she says she did it second time for the cause of protection of girl child and also to extend her support to the Mission Kakatiya programme.
Kamarapu Laxmi achieved this record feet in just thirty minutes and twenty seconds. While she was running two gynaecologists, ambulance and para-medical staff were there to take care of her incase of any unfortunate event yet she found herself able to complete her accomplishment with no inconvenience.
