Shocking but it’s true, if one were to believe the words of director Ram Gopal Varma. His latest release Ice Cream has apparently cost the producer just 2,11,832 rupees to make. Anyone who has seen the film might agree with it, if the director says so regarding the budget, because the entire film has been shot in a single location and even within that location there is not much equipment used that could run high on rental side.
The maverick director citing this budget states that the makers of the film are in profit already with the collections they have got. In fact he went on to say that the makers are so impressed with the technology and the way the he has completed the entire film in such limited budget, a sequel to the film will be on floors in three days called Ice Cream 2. Well if the budget is true, we guess, the producer making a sequel to it might also be true because at that budget it would be literally impossible to lose money. Wouldn’t it?
