problem shifting kcrs secretariet officeA case filed seven years ago is likely to become roadblock to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s plans of shifting the Secretariat. Mukthar Hussain approached the high court seven years that the 65 acre land of Chest Hospital belongs to Nawab-il-Mulk and he is the heir of the later. The petition is pending with the high court since then.

Mukthar Hussain on Thursday met the Khairatabad mandal tehsildar requesting not to go ahead with land conversion for the new Telangana secretariat until the case is cleared in the high court. However the government says that the land was purchased by the then Nizam’s government in 1943 from Nawab-ul-Mulk.

Revenue authorities clarfied Mukthar Hussain that they cannot put on hold any proposal unless the court gives orders. Mukthar is now planning to approach high court for a stay on the proceedings.
