varun-sandesh
What is “Nuvvala Nenila” about?
Krish the boss is a US returned NRI with a purpose. He tries to help Mahi, a girl who works in his office after he accidentally meets her and develops relationship with her. While helping her without realizing her falls in love with her for her true loving nature. Will he win the love ? What happens to his mission form the intertwined subplot.

Performance by Varun Sandesh?
There is no improvement in performance from Varun Sandesh. It is the same as it is was in his previous films. Add to it the fact that the director gave him a passive role , it looks like he is simply sleepwalking through the film. There are few scenes where he is required to act, Varun Sandesh tries his best but he is ineffective.

trinadha-rao
Direction by Trinadha Rao?
This is another film where the director has scope to show his skills. But the material and actors given to him let him down. There are many moments where better writing and performance would have helped the film. In the end Nuvvala Nenila is a missed opportunity for the director and it should be taken as another learning experience.

poorna-1
Poorna and others performance?
Poorna is given a meaty role in the film. Very rarely do heroines get such roles which have importance throughout the film. One would assume when a heroine gets such role she would make it count to make a mark, especially where there is no other character in sight to threaten or challenge. But even with such an open field the actress undoes the golden opportunity by acting way too loudly for anyone’s comfort. The fact that despite having the best character in the film, one feels irritation, should be enough to judge her act. Vennela Kishore in the few scenes he is present is funny whereas Dhanraj is quite opposite. The rest of the cast aren’t even given any scope to shine and hence make no impression at all.

sai-karthik
Music and other departments?
Music by Sai Karthik is decent. Couple of numbers are perfectly timed in the narrative which elevates the impact. Even the background music is competent. Cinematography is fine in general but good if one keeps in mind the low budget nature of the film. Editing is jarring at times with the lip sync being very poor. Choreography of songs is alright. The biggest drawback of the film are dialogues by Uday Bhagwatulu. They are so corny that they dilute any impact the director tries to create with a particular scene.

In another universe..
With better casting and performance and more fleshed our characterizations and dialogues, Nuvvala Nenila would have been a film with a very good conflict and scope for drama that the audience could relate to and enjoy as well. The film’s core conflict between true love and love for lust is something that has a good resonance with the people of today who are as confused as the lead characters in the film.
