It wasn’t just director Teja who was blasting Telugu cinema and audience there have been some other voices too which have been doing the same for some time. The complaint was same almost by everyone of the template formula that has plagued the Telugu film industry.
As the debate was about the “template” who better than Kona Venkat, arguably the number one writer in Telugu cinema, could have answers? The writer participating in a debate agreed on the formula but reminded everyone of the success. But there was good news from him which has made everyone happy.
Kona Venkat said that now that this template has become boring, what with everyone criticizing, he is soon coming up fresh subjects. All the current projects on sets starring the likes of Ram Charan, Akhil etc will have fresh subjects, he guaranteed. If that’s the case let’s see how the audience react to them and one also hopes that the new set don’t result in new formula that ultimately becomes another template.
