nri woman arrested for carrying cow urine to newzealandCustoms department of Newzealand had slapped a fine of 400 dollars on an Indian origin woman for bringing two bottles of cow urine with out declaring them. These bottles were used for medicinal purpose. The woman did not declare it with a belief that its healing properties can stop if she declares it.

The woman tried her level best to convince the authorities to allow her to carry it along but they did not allow. She was reportedly let go after discarding the bottles and paying the fine. The incident reportedly took place in the country last month.

The incident surfaces after it was reported in the customs department’s monthly report released recently and it got extensive coverage in the local media there. However the authorities did not reveal the name and address of the woman well within the country’s rules.
