No alliances with any party - MIM
Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) is all set to go alone for the coming elections. The Muslim party severed its years long relationship with Congress fearing anti government vote. The party which has 7 MLAs and 1 MP in Hyderabad looked for an alliance with YSR Congress but backed off as the party probably with tie up with MIM’s arch rival BJP after the elections.

MIM also at one time tried for an alliance with TRS but that did not materialize as they could not agree up on the seat sharing in the region. Finally MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi decided to go alone this election. Owaisi today filed his nomination for Hyderabad MP seat. On this occasion he said MIM party is committed for the over all development of Hyderabad and attracting investments to the city. He also assured that MIM will be of a protection to Seema Andhra people in Hyderabad.
