Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is showing the way to the nation with the land pooling policy he employed in Amaravati. The center government is planning to use this land policy for the construction of various expressways and city bypass projects
Union roads minister Nitin Gadkari confirmed this plan. The government is planning to give back 40% of the acquired land to the original owners ready for commercial development. The land given back to the farmers will be later used for setting up education hubs, transport and medical hubs and other services.
Farmers will be benefited by this policy as the land prices will shoot up post development. The policy will benefit the government by saving it from the huge costs incurred due to land acquisition.
