Hero Nikhil’s much delayed movie, ‘Karthikeya’ is finally going to hit theatres on October 24th. Nikhil and Swathi as on screen pair have already delivered a superhit in the form of ‘Swamy Ra Ra’. Hence the film got good buzz for the pairing. Nikhil would be seen as a young guy who faces the challenges other than routine in this socio-fantasy entertainer.
Besides being excited about his film’s release, Nikhil turns sentimental regarding Karthik’s connection. His earlier movie ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ revolves around the idol of Lord Ganesha. The main plot of ‘Karthikeya’ revolves around Lord Subramanya Swamy temple. ‘Karthikeya’ is another name of the Lord. Both Lord Ganesha and Lord Karthikeya happen to be brothers. Hence Nikhil feels the divine connection between these two films. He paired up with Swathi for both the films.
The film got delayed since long only to be released on the first day of Karthika Masam (holy month for Hindus). And the sentiment doesn’t end here. Nikhil is excited that five persons who are named Karthik have worked for this movie. That’s how sentiments make way into film industry. When something works, soon sentiments make their way. And sometimes these sentiments convert into superstitions even.
