Naidu reason for problems in married lives of TRS men?

In an answer to the attack TRS cadre has resorted to in Telangana on TDP offices on Tuesday, AP chief Minister called for a press meet and lashed out at the T government for making him responsible for their inactivity in the T State. On Tuesday TRS leaders, legislators and cadre burnt effigies of Naidu, attacked Telugu Desham Party offices and staged protests alleging Chandra Babu blocking the power supply to Telangana.

CBN questioned the Telangana government directly, “How long will you make me responsible for your inactivity? How long will you show me as the reason for your failures? Seems you will also say that I’m responsible for the problems in married life of TRS’ men.” Naidu explained how his foresight helped to buy power from other states @Rs.6 while T government didn’t have any plans to address the power needs in Telangana.

He said that both the states have their strengths and weaknesses. CBN explained how the Left Bank of Srisailam cannot be used for power generation. AP CM insisted to adhere to the regulations of the Krishna River Management Board and emphasized on honouring GOs 69 and 107 according to which a particular level in Srisailam Dam of water is fixed below which the water shouldn’t be drawn.

But time and again, several governments have depleted the water levels of Srisailam Dam. Presently T government is also drawing water for power generation even when the water level reached the regulatory level. Naidu clarified that he is ready to give his cooperation to the people of Telangana if he has surplus power supply. But that is not the case as of now and he is buying power from neighbouring states while T govt. is depleting Srisailam Dam water levels further.

Naidu further says that he is ready to give 54% share as per the AP reorganisation Act. But asking 54% of share from the unfinished new projects is something he wouldn’t allow. Naidu strongly requested the T government to stop blaming TDP and him for their failure. Instead requested and suggested to them to look into the possible strategies to overcome the shortage of power supply in Telangana as major portion of agricultural needs depend upon power in Telangana while canal irrigation minimises the use of power in AP.
