chandrababu naidu plans for apAfter the Narendra Modi led Central government showed empty hand to the state, the Chief Minister who earlier dreamed of a World Class capital is now pruning his plan to a small township in 500 acres which will be the core capital area.

Even though the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) managed to successfully pool in more than 32000 acres, the lack of support from center is forcing the the state government to confine the capital development to the construction of just the core region consisting of government buildings such as the secretariat, administrative blocks, assembly complex, high court, Raj Bhavan and CM’s camp office.

This small township will be constructed in an area of about 500 acres and including parks and roads, 2000 acres. The government will take up the remaining constructions one after the other slowly expanding to works in all the land pooled and all these will depend on the funds availability.
