KCR government in Telangana has taken the decision to appoint international tennis star Sania Mirza as the Brand Ambassador of Telangana. KCR opines that Sania being an international star would serve as a influencial face off for Telangana. Now it is the turn of Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu to decide upon the Brand Ambassador of the State. According to the inside talk (might even be a fabrication), the present state of affairs in AP and the interest of Naidu suggest the name of superstar Mahesh Babu to be CM’s choice for brand ambassador.
Mahesh being the brother-in-law of Naidu’s favourite MP Jaidev Galla, is also one factor which might be influencing Naidu. Mahesh always maintained safe distance from politics and didn’t even campaign for Jaidev during the recent elections. Though Prince expressed his admiration for his MP brother-in-law, he never directly ventured into politics even in the name of family ties. Even then, rumouredly it is Jaidev’s reponsibility to make the actor accept the offer. If at all this news is true and Mahesh accepts the offer, there is every chance that he might distance himself away from audience in Telangana. This news might just be a fabrication but it would be really interesting to know Mahesh’s opinion on being a brand ambasador, wouldn’t it be?
