It is now official that Megastar Chiranjeevi won’t be making his comeback with the Puri Jagannadh directed film tentatively titled as Auto Johnny. The star made it clear that he has liked the first half of the film but isn’t convinced with the second half and has therefore put the project on hold. This puts an end to all the various rumours floating on the project.
This clarification has met with mixed response among the fans. A section that wasn’t happy with Puri Jagannadh as director for 150th film has welcomed this news and also those who didn’t want Chiru 150th film to be wasted in Ram Charan’s next are also happy. It’s the people who have waited so long for 150th film to get on sets that have been disappointed.
The new deadline for next set of revelations has been set towards the end of the year, if not in the next couple of months. Will it be a new director or will it be Puri Jagannadh again with a new ‘convincing’ story is to be seen.
All said and done, fans who have been waiting for years will in any case see the film whenever it comes out and no matter how long it takes. But the way the movie is being pushed around, surely the regular audience wouldn’t have the patience to stick with it. Why would they when they have so many other exciting films to look forward to?
