Mega family picks wrong films to remake?Three heroes from Mega family will soon be working in three remakes back to back. While the good thing is remakes come with good content aka subjects there is a still a lingering feeling among fans and trade that Mega family heroes have picked wrong films to remake?

Let’s start with Thani Oruvan remake which stars Ram Charan. Not only does Charan have to play a serious cop with no-nonsense attitude, he has to deal with a performer like Aravind Swami in it. The former attitude is what has landed him in trouble in terms of ‘performances’ and if we add a show stealer like Aravind Swami to the mix, things do look troublesome for Cherry.

Chiranjeevi has an even bigger challenge of filling the shoes of a young star. There is no question about actor Chiranjeevi but age is a big factor to be considered. Also the subject with its political angle could be limiting force at box office. Finally Pawan Kalyan is doing a remake where the original itself was an average movie pulled sensationally by Ajith. The unique body language of Tamil star is what drove the film and it’s something that will be hard to replicate. For the film to succeed Pawan Kalyan to has to come up with his own one man show act that makes one forget the original. It is difficult because Powerstar has so far not done anything like that in a mass film sans comedy.

So there you have it, everything looks mismatched in terms of remakes. Can these stars pull it off? Let’s wait and see as they release one after other starting from Thani Oruvan remake.
