Gopala Gopala starring Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan was launched late last month and immediately it went onto floors. The idea behind the planned schedule, before the film went onto sets, was that it would have a Dushera release on October 2. Then couple of weeks into shooting and we heard the film wouldn’t make it on said time and will be postponed. But even then none in their wildest imagination would have though such a long jump for new release date.
The film according to the makers is now being slated to have a Sankranthi 2015 release. Since the film will not be making to the originally intended date, the makers have though it would be better on all counts if the film gets released on next big Telugu festival after Dushera, Sankranthi. The film is likely to take more than initially estimated time in post-production and this is seen as one of the major reasons for delay. Meanwhile Pawan Kalyan is yet to attend the shooting and that is also being seen as another potential reason for delay. Whatever the reasons may be, a fair section of the fans are happy that Gopala Gopala might get a Sankranthi release.
