The devotion of Indian fans to their celebrities is incomparable and any attack on these celebrities, virtual as it may be, comes with a swift retaliation. Such was the case when actor Mohanlal’s website was allegedly hacked by Pakistani hackers. These hackers not only defaced the website but also posted anti-national message related to Kashmir on his site.
Mohanlal’s fans were quite deservedly angry and they dealt with the matter by hacking Pakistani websites in retaliation. Result was that several hacking groups from India launched a massive cyber attack on Pak websites where over a 100 websites were defaced. These hackers posted the actor’s photo to the site accompanied by a dialogue from his films.
This attack is not the first of its kind and similar incidents took place in 2014 and 2015 as well, initiated on the side of Pakistani hackers. However the Indian side will not take this lying down and has said that they would continue the attacks until Pakistani hackers stop such attack on Indian cyber space.
