After the second day performance of the film Alludu Sreenu, it can be said without any doubt that the masses have embraced Alludu Sreenu which marks the debut of Bellamkonda Srinivas. Is this for the weekend or will it continue after the weekend remains to be seen but even after the weekend, the film will surely get a boost on the Eid holiday. What this means is a solid first week number for a film starring a newcomer.
The best territory for the film clearly has been Ceded with solid collections on two days and the third day looking fabulous as well. In the rest of the areas as well the film is good but it’s the B and C centres that is driving the business for the film with housefuls boards seen across those areas. While we have said ad nauseam about the factors leading up to the this opening and revenue, the trade also suggests that lack of a proper mass movie post the summer releases for these smaller centres also has a major role to play in the openings and subsequent sustenance of the film.
