From the teasers to the promos the makers of Dongata were going with a plan and they got a perfect result for it with a good release date in hand too. They had locked the May 1 date to release the film hot on hype.
Unfortunately for them the unexpected delay of the film Ganga is putting dent to their plans. Ganga which was to release on April 17 got postponed due to financial issues but luckily for them and unluckily for Dongata it has been resolved now due to intervention by Dil Raju.
With Ganga taking the May 1 slot and Uttama Villain staying its course the makers of Manchu Lakshmi starrer had no choice but to back away by a week. Dongata will now release on May 8 unless there are any last minute twists with Ganga.
