After SS Rajamouli it’s the turn of actor and producer Manchu Vishnu to express his solidary towards Ram Gopal Varma and his new game changing vision for films. Like Rajamouli he too says that the model proposed by RGV is the way to go forward and is something that he would be following in future for his films.
He then goes on to give examples of few movies that he has done and clearly takes a position that is in bashful tone of his films. He gives the example of films like Saleem that was the costliest film to make his career but the box office reception was anything but satisfactory. Even on a slightly profitable film like Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda it was the same thing he says. On the other hand Rowdy which was made on a fraction of the budget of those films was way more profitable because of the low cost in making despite not much difference in quality of making.
This is the way forward for the industry and young filmmakers should be open to this approach says the actor and saying so he has hoped that audience appreciate the upcoming movie that he is bringing in the direction of RGV.
