kcr-telangana-governmentFinally Telangana government is prepared to present its first ever budget. The budget session which are already postponed for several months finally kick starts on November 5th and Finance Minister Eetela Rajendra will present the budget on 7th. The Assembly session comes at the time, the government is under pressure from all quarters regarding the ongoing power crisis in the state.

About 270 farmers have committed suicides in KCR’s regime so far and the opposition is planning to unleash a big attack on the ruling government from this angle. KCR’s government has very little to defend as the crisis is evidently seen. Like always, the ruling party has decided to take the attack in to opposition by blaming the previous TDP and Congress governments for the current crisis and try to disassociate itself from it.

There are couple other key issues like Loan Waiver, ban on media houses, power and water sharing issues between Telangana and AP for which the government should come up with answers. Government is not keen to have too many days in this session as it can not effectively counter all this issues. So, the session may be confined for just a week in which the priority will be passing the budget. Needless to say majority of the time will go wasted with walkouts, protests etc.
