Reports emerging from TDP sources suggest that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is considering a major reshuffle in his cabinet. Naidu is taking the performances of the minister over the last one year in to consideration when doing this shuffle.
We are told that Ayanna Pathrudu, Peethala Sujatha, Kimidi Mrunalini, Kollu Ravindra Babu and Bojjala Gopala Krishna Reddy are likely to be dropped. MLCs Shariff and Sandhya Rani will be taken in to the cabinet to make up the Minority and ST quota.
Kala Venkata Rao, Meesala Geetha, V.Anitha, Bandaru Satyanarayana, Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, Butchayya Chowdary, Magunta Srinivasula Reddy, Gaali Janardhan Reddy, Somireddy Chandrasekhar Reddy, Payyavula Keshav and Shariff are in the race for the cabinet berths. It is said that the work on the shuffle is already going on and the expansion will be at any time by Mid-August.
