Trisha, one of the senior heroines whose career had been downsliding last year, miraculously bounced back with one Tamil hit movie ‘Endremdum Punnagai’. Since then, as if by luck she started getting big movies one in each language. Her biggest movies are ‘Power’ with Kannada superstar Puneet Rajkumar, ‘Thala 55’ with Ajith and ‘Godse’ with Balakrishna. But it is Prince Mahesh Babu’s movie which really is doing wonders to her career.
On the auspiscious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, Trisha’s Kannada debut movie ‘Power’ was released and opened to positive reviews and excellent box-office openings. The film is expected by trade pandits to create records and smash all the old records of Sandalwood. Needless to say, Trisha is on cloud nine for the reception. We know that ‘Power’ is the Kannada remake of Prince Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’ and to promote the film, Mahesh even graced the audio launch event in Bangalore.
