While Chadalavada Krishnamurthy is selected for the prestigious TTD Board Chairmanship, his 15-member TTD Board has ace director K.Raghavendra Rao as one if its nominated member. KRR has been a loyal supporter of the ruling Telugu Desham Party since long and many see his TTD Board membership as payment for his loyalty.
But the ace director feels it as the blessing of Lord Venkateshwara for the movie ‘Annamayya’ he made twenty years ago. He says that it’s because of the movie he got a place in the TTD Board besides Naidu’s trust on him for the benevolent spiritual work he has been into since many years.
KRR received spiritual traditional welcome from the priests of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam who blessed him to continue his service towwards Lord Balaji and the devotees, in his tenure.
