telangana-kavitha

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao’s daughter and Nizamabad MP, Kavita ran in to a controversy regarding the Intensive Household Survey concluded on Tuesday. It is mandatory for the members of a family to be physically present during the survey. Telangana CM reiterated it many times and even brought the state to a stand still by cancelling public transport and declaring holiday so that people will stay indoors.

However Kavitha defied the orders. Her in-laws in Pothangal, Navipeta furnished the details of Kavitha, her husband and their children to the enumerators who came to their house and their details are entered in the survey. With media identifying this, officials have declared that action will be taken on concerned enumerators. This is the second controversy for Kavitha after she became an MP. Earlier she made a comment in an interview that Kashmir and Telangana were forcibly annexed in to India which created an uproar across the country.
