KCR, might be presently very busy with his responsibilities as the CM of a State. But that post isn’t deterring him from pursuing his interests and in bringing out his hidden talents. Earlier too, KCR showed a similar kind of interest which has no connection to politics. He penned lyrics for a song in the movie ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ which was based on the T Movement. That song became the film’s USP and used in the film’s promotions.
Once again, KCR is looking towards Tollywood and reportedly is penning lyrics for a movie in Tollywood. The movie is titled ‘Kolimi’ and actor Shivaji is playing the main lead for the movie. KCR has even attended the muhurtam (launch) opening event. In fact, the film’s launch happened in KCR’s office in 2011. This film is directed by Nagendra and Anurag Babu scored music.
The makers are planning to release it soon and use the song written by KCR for publicity. What surprises and puzzles many is, when there are many burning problems regarding the basic necessities of common man in Telangana, why KCR is prioritising on the development of Cinema. Whatever, cine audiences are going to once again experience the creative side of KCR as a lyric writer.
