Ratan-TATA-KCR

Tata Group has offered to build 1000 MW Thermal Plant in Telangana State and it comes as a huge relief for the Power crisis ridden state. Now KCR government is on its way to please the Tatas. Accordingly, the Government has decided to drop the idea of using Toyota Innovas for the police force in the state and will be ordering Tata vehicles going further. In a bid to equip the state police ready to face more challenges, the state government has finalized to buy 1500 Toyota Innovas. Out of which 300 were already brought and distributed between Hyderabad and Cyberabad Commissionerates.

Now the Chief Minister has instructed to dump the Toyotas going further and buy Tata Vehicles for the remaining order. This move comes after hours of Tata group representatives keeping the proposal of establishing the Thermal plant which indicates a possible Quid-pro-Quo deal. The group also promised increase the solar power capacity of the state by establishing a decentralized distributed generation system using solar power for rural areas. They will also set up roof-top solar units and energy plantation on waste lands for biomass power.

The Tata company representatives will give a presentation of their vehicles to the police officials very soon. They are considering Tata Aria (Rs 14.89 lakh approximately), Tata Movus (Rs 7.22 lakh) and Tata Sumo Gold (Rs 5.98 lakh approx) will suit the purpose of the state police. A final decision regarding this will be taken in November.
