It is known that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao has come up with the idea of giving benefits of welfare schemes only to the families in Telangana before 1956. KCR is not keen on spending a penny of government rupee on settlers and this rule is expected to filter. The CM today had a meeting with officials of Finance, Welfare, Education and Panchayati Raj department to discuss the implementation of the nativity rule with out getting any legal issues.

Firstly, KCR will cancel the existing fees reimbursement program to students and will introduce FAST scheme in its place. FAST stands for Financial Assistance for Students of Telangana. This program will not benefit any other students studying in Telangana. Students have to submit nativity proof that their families exist in Telangana before 1956 i.e., the year from which the United State came in to existence. On the other side, Andhra Pradesh All party leaders have gone to Delhi to take up the issue to Central government.
