A leading Media house had unearthed a disparity in the election expenses of Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao. There are disparities in the accounts of elections expenses shown by the party and by KCR individually. TRS party had informed the Election Commission that it spent 14 Crore for its candidates in 2014 elections.
KCR contest for Gajwel Assembly as well as Medak Lok Sabha in the last elections. KCR in election expenses states that he spent 75 Lakhs for his Lok Sabha segment and 13.5 Lakhs. But TRS had shown accounts that it spent One Crore for KCR which means there is a disparity in both the accounts.
Either TRS or KCR will be at wrong now and in either ways, KCR will be on losing side, if Election Commission takes this issue seriously. In case they take, they are likely to issue a show cause notice to KCR and TRS party and the action will be taken on basing on their response.
