While competing with each other in development, Telugu Chief Ministers seem to be also taking on each other in seeking funds from the Center. Last week, Chandra Babu had submitted his huge list of demands to the 14th Finance Commission when they visited Tirupati and now it is the turn of Telangana CM. The CM will explain the commission on Friday about the challenges faced by the new state and how it is important for the center to help them at this crucial stage.
KCR’s government is planning to give the commission a demo of various government programs planned like ‘Haritha Haram’, ‘Intensive Household Survey’, ‘Hyderabad Safe & Smart City’, ‘Drinking Water Grid’ and ‘Mana Ooru Mana Pranalika’. After the meeting, the Chief Minister is going to treat the commission members with a grand feast at Hotel Falknuma Palace which is considered as one of the costliest hotel in Hyderabad with typical Nizam kind of royal treatment.
