Hero Karthi though a Tamil hero, like his brother Surya has got a good fan base in Tollywood even. Right from his first Tamil film, he made sure that all his movie got dubbed into Telugu simultaneously and release in telugu speaking States. His first three movies ‘Yuganikokkadu’, ‘Awara’ and , ‘Na Peru Shiva’ were superhit in both Tamil and Telugu languages. But his last three releases ‘Sakuni’, ‘Bad Boy’ and ‘Biryani’ fared badly at the box-office.
In this scenario, his latest movie ‘Madras’ was released last Friday on 26th September and received rave reviews for his performance and content. The movie is gradually running towards block buster collections. But meanwhile Tamil Nadu CM was convicted in the inappropriate assets case. Huge violence and unrest broke up in Tamil Nadu. Some of ‘Madras’ shows had to be cancelled because of the troubled situation. As per the political observers the same situation may prolong for some more days and hence Karthi’s film might be affected badly. Poor Karthi!
