Kamal Haasan and controversies go hand in hand when it comes to controversies on his film titles. Once again he is back to a controversy on his next film titled ‘Sabhaash Naidu’. The last name ‘Naidu’ has caste-based connections to it.
One Ravi Kumar, who is the general secretary of the outfit Viduthalai Sirut Thai Katchi has now appealed to Kamal Haasan not to use the case-based title for his film which is evidently going to have political overtones to its concept. He opines that this would lead to caste-based conflicts.
Ravi Kumar expressed his concern on the growing conflicts based on castes in Tamil Nadu recently. He doesn’t want Kamal Haasan film’s title to aggravate the ongoing situation. Kamal is going to make the film in three different languages and his daughter Shruti Haasan is also going to feature as one of the leads in the movie.
