It was a historical day for the people of India and for Jayalalitha it was the most fateful day when the Puratchi Thalaivi was convicted on charges of pocessing inappropriate assets and ordered to jail and a heavy fine of Rs.100 crores. Like in many of the movies she herself acted in, after the pronouncement of the verdict, Jayalalitha had no way to appeal to a higher court because the day after the judgement is a Sunday and Monday happens to be a holiday.
Everyone has their opinios on the judgement. But for the commoners, it was a day of rejoicing though the verdict came very late. Coming to beautiful Kajal Agarwal’s opinion on Jayalalitha, she was caught unawares when she was found praising Puratch Thalaivi Jayalalitha on a chat show aired on Saturday night. Actually the episode was shot long back but was aired on Saturday, on the same day Jaya was convicted for the accusations.
In the show, Kajal was all praise for Jaya saying that she improved the infrastructure & basic facilities in Tamil Nadu. When host Pradeep gave her the choice whether she would choose Sonia Gandhi’s or Jaya’s role to play in a bipic, Kajal chose Jayalalitha. She opines that the TN CM brought in a lot of positive changes inTamil Nadu. In the wake of Jaya’s conviction and police custody, Kajal’s inncocent comments may be pitted against her as she got into a row with Udayanidhi Stalin refusing to pay back the advance money he had given her. Tamil hero Stalin hails from Karunanidhi family, the political bitter opponents of AIADMK (Jaya’s party). Oops Kajal!
