Bollywood director Sujoy Ghosh is presently planning to make a sequel for his very popular blockbuster ‘Kahaani’ which was remade into Telugu and Tamil as ‘Anaamika’. The remake turned out to be a big flop.
Vidya Balan played the main lead in ‘Kahaani’ in Hindi and Nayanatara in Tamil-Telugu remake. The director says that Vidya Balan is going to star in the sequel as well. But Nayanatara might not have that chance at all.
Though Shekhar Kammula is presently remaking his own ‘Happy Days’ in Hindi, one can easily understand that he wouldn’t dare to think of remaking the sequel of ‘Kahaani’ as the prequel’s remake turned out to be a big failure.
